Hi all I am new here, I am a retired welder and heavy machine opr. I consider myself a halfassed machinist on weekends. I just bought a rivett 1020S lathe and am looking for any info anyone might have on said machine.

Thanks Ted

I don't know if Carl is still with us .

If you haven't already, be sure to check out lathes.co.uk for the Rivett 1020s lathe as well as VintageMachinery.org for Publications and restoration Photos.

That's an amazingly well engineered lathe. Good luck and Welcome to SCHSM!
